Val is a Partner at Paragon Consulting Partners, LLC, leading the Cardiovascular initiatives and supporting the Enterprise Imaging service line. He is a highly motivated professional with over 19 years of Healthcare/Health IT experience in clinical system assessments, procurement, implementation, and support. His leadership and clinical experience in the Enterprise Imaging space has consistently delivered successful results in every Healthcare IT project. Val contributes to the ongoing evolution of project management best practices through active participation in the Project Management Institution (PMI).

Laurie Lafleur, MBA, CIIP
Laurie is a Senior Consultant at Paragon Consulting Partners, LLC. Having worked with care providers and vendors across the U.S., Canada, and Europe, she brings more than 17 years of relevant experience in software engineering, product marketing, and business strategy within the healthcare IT and imaging informatics industries. With her deep technological expertise and thorough understanding of the healthcare landscape and marketplace, she provides healthcare organizations and vendors with valuable guidance regarding technology selection, quality process, and interoperability best practices that result in efficient, scalable, and secure enterprise solutions and integrations. Laurie gives back to the healthcare and technology industries alike by participating in the IHE Radiology and HIMSS-SIIM working groups, and serving as a technical advisor on an academic Software & Electronics Engineering advisory board.

Through his work with luminary vendors and healthcare providers Eric has made significant contributions to the industry through numerous successful enterprise data management and workflow optimization projects across the United States, Australia, the Middle East, and Asia. With his extensive experience in enterprise imaging software engineering, product management, and executive leadership, Eric is well versed in crafting and executing winning strategies at the business, operational, and technical levels for provider and vendor organizations alike. Eric’s focus is on assisting healthcare organizations and vendors of all sizes with imaging strategy, new technology development and adoption, systems and deployment services, and data management and analytics initiatives.
Larry A. Ranahan, MBA
Larry is a Senior Consultant at Paragon Consulting Partners, LLC, with over 40 years of hands-on leadership experience spanning governmental, academic, clinical, and practice management settings in the public, private, and vendor sectors. He supports the team with his extensive knowledge in the implementation and use of enterprise and departmental imaging solutions that deliver measurable operational and service delivery improvements. His focus is on identifying and implementing innovative solutions for improving the availability and quality of medical imaging data to enhance care delivery processes and outcomes for all stakeholders, especially the patient. Larry serves as an At-Large Public Member for the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), Data and Information Technology Advisory Committee (DITAC), providing insights based on his industry experience in support of ABMS’s continuous, collective data improvement efforts.
